What Is IP Address
An IP address (Internet Protocol Address) is a unique identifier assigned to every device on the internet. It is used for sending and receiving data packets across the internet. IP addresses can be in either IPv4 or IPv6 format. IPv4 addresses consist of four groups of numbers, each group ranging from 0 to 255. For example, "192.168.1.1" is an IPv4 address. IP addresses enable devices to locate each other and exchange data in network communication.
